Billy Corbin

Billy (William Eugene) Corbin, 66, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018. He was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and lived there for 25 years. Billy was a factory worker with Mor-Flo Industries until 1992 when he became disabled. He volunteered as a docent for the Tennessee Aquarium for several years. Billy was also an avid TV watcher who loved all sports, and he loved playing solitaire on his computer. He proudly served his country in the Army until he was medically discharged. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Gaynell Corbin; and in-laws, Dorothy and JC Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Linda Gordon Corbin, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; father, William P. Corbin, of Lafayette, Ga.; sister, Mary Ann Gordon, of Lafayette, Ga.; niece, Jessica McMasters (Chris Smith), of Chickamauga, Ga.; great-nieces, Ainsley, Camden, and Paige McMasters, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., and Dylan Smith, of Chickamauga, Ga. Billy’s wishes were to have no services. For years all he wanted was to donate his body to science. His final resting place will be with the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, in order to teach others.
