Kenneth Blevins

Kenneth Wesley Blevins, 75, Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018. Kenneth was a Deacon at Tiftonia Baptist Church for 47 years. He always looked at life as though his glass was not half empty, but overflowing with hope and love. He loved to travel and his CB handle was Crusader. He loved the Journey and he loved Disney World. He described his life as enjoying God’s creation in all 50 states as a long distance Truck Driver. He was born May 22, 1943, to the late John and Ruth Blevins; also preceding him death are his brother, Carl Blevins; sister, Mary Smith; brother-in-laws, Frank Rogers and Tom Smith; son-in-law, Jeff Worley; special niece, Lisa Rogers; nephew, Jonathan Rogers. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Pat Duggan Blevins; daughters, Tammy (Norman) Baxter and Debbie Blevins; brothers, Austin (Judy) Blevins and Bobby (Sheila) Blevins; sister, Millie (Lexie) Tyler; grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Worley and Jessica Baxter; great-grandchildren, Addison and Jaxon; special person in our lives, Phoebe Curd; very special friend, Roy Brackett; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, from 11 a.m. CST until time of service. Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. CST with Pastor Mark Brandon, Bro. Milford White and Bro. Klay Brandon.
