Angela Vick

FORT OGLETHORPE — Angela Darleen Vick “Dink”, 70, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018. Angela was a 1966 graduate of W.A. Berry High School in Birmingham, Ala. She enjoyed history and collecting antiques. Her home itself was a piece of living history. She was a loving wife, mother and “Marmie” and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Hazel Haynes “Mama”; parents, Robert P. Russell, Sr. and Wilma Joyce Russell. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Gordon Lee Vick Sr.; children, Gordon Lee Vick Jr. “Toby” and his wife Dana, Joyce LeAnne Vick; Russell Jackson Vick and his wife Susan; sister, Denese Russell Torbett; brother, Robert P. Russell Jr. and his wife Jeanne; grandchildren, Robert Alexander Bishop, Gwendolyn Darleen Vick, Donovan Lee Dunn, Dylan James Center, and Brandon Matthew Center. The family will hold a private service. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
