Dorothy Kuhne

DALTON — Dorothy “Dot” Kuhne, 69, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael B. Kuhne; parents, George and Betty Nye; father-in-law, Stanley Kuhne. Dot was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Scott Stone, of Cleveland, Tenn., and Kelley and Scott McAllister, of Dalton; a sister and brother-in-law, Ginger and Larry McMillen, of Anna Maria Island, Fla.; mother-in-law, Artie Kuhne; grandchildren, Garrett Stone, Mallory McAllister, Delaney Stone, Makenna McAllister, and Bronson Stone; nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Mullis and Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
