Dan Stovall

Daniel A. Stovall, 72, of Hixson, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018. He lived in Hixson since 1986. Dan served his country in the U.S. Army for 18 years as an aviation mechanic. He then worked in security for the Arnold Air Force Base, Dupont and McKee Bakery. A family man, Dan loved history, especially the Civil War, war gaming, John Wayne movies, guns, bowling and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Dorothy Stovall. Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Linda Stovall; daughter and son-in-law, Keith and Belinda Fambrough; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Mark Morrow; sister, Lynda Hunter, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Hamilton County Memorial Park. Visitation is Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
