Mildred Meadows

WHITWELL — Mildred Meadows, 91, was greeted by her Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018. The daughter of the late Clara Richard and William Nickleson, she was married to the late Loyd Meadows for 41 years. She was also preceded in death by sons, Richard Meadows and Ronnie Meadows; grandchildren: Jeremy, Jeffrey and Jesse Meadows; and five siblings. Surviving her is her daughter and her husband, Rhonda and Jerry Haggard; son and his wife, Harold and Mary Meadows; grandchildren, Vicki (Terry) Williams, Jarrett Haggard, Justin (Brittanie) Meadows, Caleb (Nikita) Meadows; great-grandchildren, Corey, Sheppard, Courtney, Caitlin, Hattie, Mylie, Alexis, and Raelynn; sister: Beverly Freeman. A celebration of her life will be Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. CT at the Whitwell Church of Christ, 100 E Kansas Ave, Whitwell. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately afterward at Hooker Cemetery. Special thanks to Whitwell Church of Christ, Hospice of Chattanooga, & NHC Dunlap for the special love shown to a faithful lady.
