Ruth Ashby

Ruth Card Ashby, 101, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born and raised in Canada, has lived in Chattanooga for over 50 years and is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her husband, William C. Ashby, preceded Ruth in death 18 years ago. Survivors include her children, William Card (Claire) Ashby of Draper, UT, Arda Ruth (Ian) Shields of BC, Canada, Erin K. Ashby of Galesville, AL, Eric (Florence) Ashby of Chattanooga, TN, and Dr. Eda Ashby of Rexburg, ID; her siblings, Marie Burnham, Rhea Matkin, and Lincoln Card; 24 grandchildren and over 70 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3067 Ooltewah Ringgold Road. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery, American Fork, Utah.
