Dr. George Newton Fincher was carried Home by God after a courageous, strong and inspiring battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by God, Family, and the caring folks of Hearth Hospice. He was a Vietnam veteran and a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross. He loved traveling and enjoyed many vacations with his beloved grandchildren. Dr. George N. He obtained his Doctorate of Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Sarasota. In his private practice, Dr. Fincher had over 40 years of practical, professional work experience from the fields of Education, Mental Health, Corrections and Business.
