Fred Tyous

Fred Lee Tyous, 71 of Chattanooga, passed away Nov. 28, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the World's Church of the Living God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Tyous; parents, Alta Mae and Izear Tyous Sr.; brothers, Bishop Izear Tyous Jr., and David Tyous; grandmother, Victoria Gillespie. He is survived by his daughter, Christy Morrow; son, Michael Tyous; sisters, Jeanette Kelley, Sandra Harris and Alicia (Robert) Carey; brother, Michael Tyous; nieces, Lona Kelley and Andrea McKnight; other relatives and friends. Arrangements for a private memorial service have been entrusted to John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
