Glover Wingo

Glover Wingo, 83, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away Dec. 14, 2018. He was born April 8, 1935 to the late Malmoth and Thelma Wingo. Mr. Wingo retired from Signal Mountain Cement. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, Kent and Terry Wingo; sisters, Elizabeth Adamson, Mary Lou Bruce and Pauline Bruce; grandson, Michael Simpson. Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Wingo; daughter, Kim (Mickey) Simpson; son, Mark Wingo; grandchildren, Melissa Simpson, Amber Simpson, Austin Wingo, Seth and Leah Wingo; great-grandchildren, Cole and Conner Simpson; brother, Aaron Wingo and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 18, 2018, at the funeral home prior to the service.
