Fairlie Nunley

WHITWELL — Fairlie Douglas Nunley, 71, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. Fairlie served in The U.S. Marines, a member of Green’s Chapel Church, DAV and American Legion Hall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jill Layne Nunley; parents, Earl D. and Anna Lou Nunley; sister, Shirley Castle; granddaughter, Beth Ann Brown. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Melissa (Marty) Brown, of Whitwell, Annette (Tim) Yancey, of Chickamauga; brothers, David Bradley Nunley and Eddie Ray Nunley; grandchildren, Cody Brown, Megan Bryson, Kristin Yancey; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Bryson and Avery Bryson. Family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. CST, Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018. Funeral Service 11 a.m. CST, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Potts officiating. Interment to follow at Griffith Creek Cemetery. Military Honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
