Harley Jones

JASPER — Harley Jones, went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2018. Harley was a resident in Jasper, TN. He worked at R.K. Haskew for 45 years as a machinist. He was of Baptist faith and was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, John Leonard Jones and his mother Bertie Poe Jones; brothers, J.L. Jones, Billy Jones, Jimmy Jones, J.C. Jones, Clifford Jones and sisters. Beula Felts, Helen Cobb and Betty Jo Jones. Those that will have his memories is his wife of 48 years, Marlita Smith Jones; sons Keith (Reba) Jones and Jeffery (Carey Atterton) Jones; brother, Claude (Faye) Jones; grandchildren, Tiffany French, Dillon Jones, Taylor Jones and Jordan Jones; great-grandchildren, Kinley and Brinley Sloan and special friend, Randy Brooks. Visitations with the family will be on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 from 11:00 am CST to 8:00 pm CST and Thursday, December 20th, 2018 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN. The services for Harley will be held on Friday, December 21st, 2018 at 2:00 pm CST in the Chapel at Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Talley officiating.
