Audice Merciers

Audice Merciers, 89, of Chattanooga went home to be with her Lord on Dec. 21, 2018. She was born July 12, 1929, to the late Pat and Lillian Dagnan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Merciers, daughter, Donna Merciers, grandson, Michael Germany, great grand daughter, Amy Grace Parker, and several brothers and sisters. She was a charter member of the Tiftonia Church of God where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She was a substitute teacher at Valley View Elementary School, She enjoyed poetry, and spending time with her family. Survivors include daughters, Judy (Rev Don) Stephens, Sherry (Joel) Germany; sons, Fred (Penny) Merciers, and Danny (Lisa) Merciers, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday 11 a.m. until the service time at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lane South Crest Chapel with interment in the Forest Hills Cemetery.
