Nathan Ledford

Nathan Ledford of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., 69, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Dec. 29, 2018. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was honorably discharged as a Petty Officer 2 nd Class. He continued to serve his country as a Naval Reservist for two more years after discharge. He went on to work at both Sequoyah and Watts Bar Nuclear Plants. He also worked and retired from Card Monroe Corporation. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Ledford; daughter, Kristy Branum and her husband Matt Branum; three precious grandchildren, Rebekah Parker and her husband, Shane Parker, Andrew Branum and Katelyn Branum; as well as one precious great- grandchild Camden Parker. Nathan had a strong sense of duty toward his country and his family. He was much loved by his family and will be greatly missed. But we are so thankful with the knowledge he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and is now in His Presence. Your family will see you again in Heaven. Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. at National Cemetery with Matt Branum officiating.
