Gilbert Miller

Rev. Gilbert Wade Miller, 62, of Chattanooga, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018. Rev. Miller was the Pastor of Hickory Grove Feetwashing Baptist Church for the last two years. He played the piano and sang for Freedom Gospel for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Miller and Addie Wilson; brother, Lamar Miller; sister, Shelia Smith; granddaughter, Katie Bartrum; grandson, Tyler Miller. Reverend is survived by his sons, Frank (Summer) Miller and Raymond Torres; daughter, Christy McAndrew; grandchildren, Colten, Caitlin, Cruz and Caroline Miller, Colton and Kaleb Bartrum; brother, Stan Miller; sisters, Terry Ewton, LaGeita Erwin, LaVonnia Swafford and Twanda Splawn. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral service for Reverend Miller will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gladden Coe and Jackie Swanson officiating.
