Jennie Wells

Jennie F. Wells, 71, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018. Jennie was retired from Blue Cross/ Blue Shield of Tennessee. She was a graduate of Tyner High School and The University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama Nursing School. She was preceded in death by her father, A.J. Horton Jr.; mother, Florene S. Horton; and daughter, Brenda Hafley. Survivors include her sister, Judy (Denny) Hullander; granddaughter, Charla Hafley; grandson, Shayne (Pam) Hullander; nieces, Jessica and Whitney Hullander; great-granddaughter, Brenda Cranmore; and several other family members. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Greenwood Cemetery.
