Minnie Meadows

SPRING CITY — Minnie M. Meadows, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center. A lifetime resident of Spring City, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna Underwood Hill. Minnie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Spring City Foursquare Church where she taught Sunday school for 65 years. Minnie loved her family and her church and was a lifelong prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert C. Meadows Jr.; brother, Haskell Hill; sisters, Winnie Faye, Vernice Danice and Verna Ferguson; and son-in-law, Larry Miles. Survivors include her children, Haskell (Melba) Meadows, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., Roberta Doreen Pearce, of Corona, Calif., and Charlotte Miles, of Spring City; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, at 3 p.m. at the Spring City Foursquare Church with Rev. David Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Spring City Foursquare Church. Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
