Beverly Jo Phillips-Exum

Beverly Jo Phillips-Exum, 68, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed peacefully on Feb. 22, 2018, with family at her side. Beverly was born on April 17, 1949. Beverly loved her family, the beach, flowers, summers at the lake, sewing, crafts and fishing. As a lifelong resident of Chattanooga BJ served the people of her community with gracious humor and smiles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Davis; four siblings; and grandchild, Kelly. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Michelle French (Robert); sons, Kenny Garland (Karen), and Jonathan Exum (Kayla); grandchildren, Candice (Josh), Anthony (Kelly), Kris (Sara), Kayla (Dakota), Harper, Jacob, Ethan; great-grandchildren, Jude, Erin, Katherine, Scarlett, Sierra Jo; stepfather, Marvin Davis; brother, Jimmy Davis; and extended family. Companion Funeral and Cremation Service and the Cody family are honored to assist the family with these arrangements.
