Thomas Stewart

Thomas Greer Stewart, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018. He lived in Soddy-Daisy over 40 years and was of the Baptist faith. He loved music and playing guitar and singing. Thomas worked with Teamsters to raise money for children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Elsie Stewart; daughter-in- law, Cheryl Stewart and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors are his loving wife of 61 years, Effie Stewart; son, David Stewart; daughters, Tina Lawson (Bill) and Susan Miles (Mike); grandchildren, David Stewart, Jr., Paul Morgan, Amy Harvey (Warner), Chris Lawson, Patrick Lawson and Kayla Wagner; great-grandchildren, Lana Harvey, Hayden Grant, Bryson Lawson and Lilly Lawson; several beloved nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
