Nick Kennedy

Nicholas “Nick” Davis Kennedy Jr., 58, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1977 and was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga. Nick was currently employed at Goodwill Industries and formerly at McKee Foods. He was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. Nick was an avid UT Vols fan, hunter and very supportive of his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. Nick was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas D. Kennedy Sr. Survivors include his daughters, Amanda (Timothy) Thompson and Abbie (Tony) Blake; grandchildren, Rylee, Madison and Abby Thompson and Charlee and Preston Blake; mother, Wanda Guice Kennedy; sister, Pam (Mark) Scott; several nieces and nephews; companion of 15 years, Becky Murphy. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
