Rodolfo Mondido

Rodolfo Mondido, 89, has gone to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018. He was born on July 5, 1928, to Fabian and Reymunda Mondido of Negros Occidental Philippines, the third of five children. He came to the U.S. with his wife in September 1986. He served as a deacon for many years and was a faithful servant of God. He loved spending time with his family and was very fond of his grandchildren. He is loved by many for his genuine smile and humble heart. He spent much of his time at home with his wife tending to their garden. Rodolfo is survived by his loving wife of 65 years; along with his seven children; sons, Jeremias, Gedeon, Samuel; daughters, Marilou, Eunice, Evelyn and Esther; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Advantage Funeral & Crematory Services, on McCallie Avenue. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Rex Bolis officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Garden South.
