Elizabeth Muss

Elizabeth Ann Muss, 91, of Signal Mountain, died Jan. 15, 2018, at her home in Alexian Village Health Care. Elizabeth received a Bachelor Degree from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in the Teaching of English from St. Thomas University in St. Paul. She taught High School English as a religious sister for over 20 years, then worked for Clark Equipment Company before retiring to Hilton Head Island and later to Signal Mountain. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine Muss. She is survived by her best friend, Susan Sauer. Funeral Mass will be at 11:15 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Alexian Village with the Rev. Father Joseph Kuzhupil officiating. Interment will be private.
