CHICKAMAUGA — Leslie “Bud” Mark Sewell, 77, passed away Jan. 8, 2018. Mr. Sewell was born in Sherman, Texas to his parents W.B. and Margie Marcum Sewell. Bud has lived in the area for over 22 years and attended Antioch Baptist Church in Chickamauga. Mr. Sewell was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Margie Sewell; brother, Benny Sewell; beloved wife, Barbara Sewell; children, Brenton Mark Sewell, Christopher Brian Sewell; and uncle, Leon Sewell. Survivors include children, Gerald “Steve” Sewell, Keith Sewell (wife Nicole) and James Sewell; brother, Bill Sewell; grandchildren, Maleika Williams, Christopher James Sewell, Mackenzie Slingerland and Corbin Nicholson; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren also survive. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Sewell will be Jan. 20, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronnie Millican officiating.
