Karless Hays

HIGH POINT — Karless Adrian Hays Sr., 83, of High Point, Ga. passed away Sunday – Jan. 21, 2018. He was born in Walker County to the late Samuel Felton Hays Sr. and Della Carter Hays. He had worked for McKee Bakery for many years as a truck driver and had also worked for Ross Mahan and Wheelen Foundry as an electrician. He attended church at Lookout Baptist Church and had been a lifelong resident of the High Point community. He enjoyed antique and classic cars. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Ireland Hays; their daughters, Carla Denise Hays, Frieda Gail Hays Webb; brother, Cecil Hays. He is survived by his sons, Rusty (Susan) Hays of the Cove, Mike (Turk) Lawson of High Point, Ga.; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. – Tuesday – Jan. 23, 2018 graveside in High Point Cemetery with Chaplain Pat Davis officiating. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes – Chickamauga Chapel.
