Richard Bergman

Richard “Dick” Bergman passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in Collegedale, Tenn. He was born on March 11, 1929, in Busti, N.Y. Dick Bergman was a man who loved his wife and family dearly and considered his Lord Jesus as his best friend. He loved people—never met a stranger. He enjoyed a successful career working for Loma Linda Foods and Harris Pine Mills. After retirement he enjoyed being a buyer/seller at the auto auctions. His passion was for his family, automobiles and sharing the love of Jesus. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lucille Bergman; three children, David (Debbie) Bergman, Sandy (Tom) Worthen, Shari (Joel) McQuistan; and brother, Dennis Bergman; he has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be Feb. 24, at 3:30 p.m. at the Standifer Gap SDA Church, 8310 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, Tenn.
