Constance Woodall

Constance “Connie” Woodall, 84, of the Lakeview Community of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Woodall was an active member of Lakeview First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, traveled with the Sonshiners and was a member of the Widows Harvest Ministry. She served as assistant youth minister at Wayside Baptist Church. Known for her contagious smile and for being a prayer warrior, Mrs. Woodall loved everyone and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, James Woodall, son, Albert Woodall, grandson, Matt Richardson, and great-grandson, Owen Stokes. Survivors include her children, Sharon (Sam) Dekelata, John (Cara) Woodall, Beth Moran, Cathy Freuler, & Terri (Mike) Puryear; brother, Frank (Nancy) DePew; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview First Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Cooper officiating. Mrs. Woodall will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Please share expressions of sympathy at lane-southcrestchapel.com. Mrs. Woodall will lie in state Saturday from 9:30am until the funeral hour at Lakeview First Baptist church. Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
