Florene Tinker

Florene Davis Tinker, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2018. She fought a courageous 5 year battle with melanoma. She was a devout Christian who was known as “Nana” or “Auntie”. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Clifford Tinker; parents, Sim and Cora Davis; infant daughter, Mary; daughter, Juanita Ewing; son, Claude Tinker. She is survived by her grandchildren; John and Melody Ewing, Shannon (Matt) Wallace and Stephanie Wilson; great grandchildren, Ciara, Colby, Cheyenne, Cadence, Caden and Cali; son-in-law, Billy Ewing; nephews, Ben R. Ramsey, Jr.(caregiver), Michael Ramsey, Bob Davis and George T. Erdel. Family will receive friends 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2018, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2018, in the funeral home chapel with Reverends David Bragg and Bobby Daugherty officiating. Interment will follow at the Harrison Cemetery.
