Chuck Weland

Charles “Chuck” Wayne Weland 76, of Hixson passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018. Chuck was born and raised in Elmo, Missouri. He moved to Hixson, Tenn. in 1983, where he spent the remainder of his life. Chuck began his career in information systems with Blue Cross Blue Shield. He continued with Provident and retired from CIGNA in 2002. Chuck also spent several years at Home Depot in Hixson. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and being outdoors. Chuck loved spending time with his family most of all. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Verlie Weland, his brothers Lowell, Dean, and Wes Weland. Chuck was a loving husband, father and brother who will forever be remembered by his wife and best friend of 38 years, Karen; his children Steve Weland, Melissa (Clint) Steele and Carla Weland; brother Rex (Judy) Weland, his grandchildren Emily, Paxton, and Braden.
