Barry Grayson
Barry’s ride arrived on July 10, gathering his free spirit to join with his
father, Travis Grayson who preceded him in death.
Barry’s philosophy
was, “We all have a start date and end date. Everything between those
dates is the ride.”
Many knew Barry for his gentle spirit. Ever a gentleman, well dressed, happy, and meticulously neat; Barry’s greatest attribute was his
authenticity.
Appreciating the fleeting nature of life, Barry never wasted a moment.
To those closest to his heart, he shared his favorite pastimes: listening to great music, playing bocce at the beach, enjoying a round of golf,
trips to Keeneland, riding motorcycles and playing his bass guitar.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Grayson; his mother, Frances Maynor Grayson; his mother-in-law Jane Yendell; two sister-in-laws, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friends.
In keeping with Barry’s wishes of not dwelling on sadness, the family is
foregoing a memorial service at this time.
Barry was always best when at the beach, therefore a private service will be held in the future returning him to his favorite place on earth.
In lieu of flowers or food, celebrate Barry’s memory, go to iTunes, take
a risk on a new artist, download and enjoy.
