Lula Roberts

Lula Eluria Roberts, 89, of Ooltewah, Tenn., passed away on July 9, 2018. She was born on Aug. 17, 1928, in Perry, Fla. She was a retired real estate broker. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edward Whiddon and Celesta Jackson; son, Larry V. Roberts, and granddaughter, Lindsey Roberts. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Melvin V. “Shorty” Roberts; son, David W. Roberts; grandchildren, Carie Koscielny, William “Brent” Roberts, Steven J. Roberts, and Ryan Roberts. In addition to these, she leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church located at 9122 Ooltewah Georgetown Rd, Ooltewah, TN 37363. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Teresa Norman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
