Franklin Hufstetler

Franklin Raymond Hufstetler Sr., “Peanut”, 84, of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away on June 10, 2018. He was retired from Dupont and attended Bayside Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to the lake and lake life. Franklin enjoyed gardening and gambling. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Hufstetler; brothers, Richard Hufstetler and Roy Hufstetler and sister, Ruby Hufstetler. He is survived by his wife, Mattie “Tip” Ezell Hufstetler; children, Franklin R. Hufstetler, Jr., Kimberly (Bobby) Phifer, Randy (Joan) Ezell, Charles (Nancy) Ezell and Kathy (Mike) Swindall; grandchildren, Bradley S. Hufstetler, Eric R. Hufstetler, Dr. Kaitlin L. Hufstetler, Hannah Arthur, Ashley P. (Nick) Romito, Brittany P. (Tracy) Spurlock, Lori (Andy) Perkins, David (Casey) Swindall, Amanda Swindall, Matthew (Diana) Ezell and Douglas (Casi) Ezell; several great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen H. Rowan. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
