Connie Lee Chandler

Connie Lee Chandler, 65, a resident of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018. She was born on Aug. 9, 1952, in Coldwater, Mich., to William Foster and Beverly Chase Foster. She worked as a Supervisor and mail Clerk for the U.S Post Office. Connie was raised mostly in self-supporting Seventh-day Adventist boarding schools: Little Creek School/Southern Missionary College during her school years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, rug-making, and gardening. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, William Foster; grandparents, Gerald Wayne Chase and Greta Todd Chase Bradley, Louie Foster and Lula Foster. She is survived by her husband, James Chandler Jr.; daughter, Shannon Chandler; mother, Beverly Chase Foster; brother, Steve and his wife, Tricia Foster; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Clyde) Howell, brother-in-law Jimmy (Valerie) Allmond; and several nieces and nephews who loved and adored their Aunt Connie; nephew Jason and his wife Julie Foster. Services will be held at McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church at 5440 McDonald Rd, McDonald, TN 37353, Saturday March 24, at 3 p.m. The family will be there at 2 p.m. for visitation for those who wish to come early.
