Mary Carlton

Mary Ellen McCloud Carlton, 87, of Chattanooga passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at her residence. Mrs. Carlton was born in Chattanooga on Feb. 22, 1931, to the late John McCloud Sr. and Etta May McCloud. She enjoyed traveling, boating, watching the Tennessee Vols., and was of the Baptist faith. She was always willing to help her family and others with anything needed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, John B. McCloud Jr., James McCloud, Charles David McCloud, William Richard McCloud, Albert Marshall McCloud, Billy Herman McCloud, and Owen T. McCloud; sister, Hettie Almeda McCloud. Survivors include her husband, Murray Seronick; stepdaughter, Diane Blaine; 16 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2018, in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor David Lively officiating.
