Lee Roy Clark

Lee Roy Clark, 58, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at his home. Lee Roy Clark was someone; that through adversity, became one of the strongest men we've ever known. Lee Roy was the heart and soul of his family, and his life was dedicated to the caring of his friends and co-workers. Lee Roy was like most all of us that grew up in the country. He worked hard on the job at TVA and continued the hard work when he got home on all the projects he had around the house. If he was on a tractor or in his shop he was in his happy space.  He never met a stranger and if you weren’t careful he would be trading you out of something that caught his eye before he left. Lee Roy had such a huge compassion for the people in his life that had left this world before him. He has collected over the years many small mementos that drew him close to those people from his past. He also had great compassion for his family and friends.  With Lee Roy a hand shake was as good as gold and if you needed him all you had to do is call.  He would be there before the phone was down. One of Lee Roy’s favorite past times was singing and he was good. His big heart gave out way too soon. If Lee Roy knew you were having problems he would carry your worries and troubles with him. He would not only work to resolve his problems but help many others resolve theirs. Even though Lee Roy left us in this mortal world his kindness and compassion has touched many lives that will continue the goodness in his memory for many years to come. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Fay Clark; brothers, Paul, James and Herbert Clark; sister, Ruby Clark Milliron. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Tessie Clark; sons, Tony, Scottie (Brittany) and Jordan Clark; brother, Don Clark; sister, Druzella (Clark) Hodge; special grandson, LeeLand Clark; grandchildren, MaeLee Clark, Ainslee Clark and Brylee Clark. Visitation will be private for family only and a celebration of Mr. Clark's life will be announced.
