Evelyn Strickland

Evelyn Wonda-Lee Strickland, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Riverside High School. She was a faithful member of Church of Jesus and was a teacher at the Nursery School. Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Helena Sneed; husband, Bonnie Strickland; sister, Dorothy Brown; and brother, Willie Johnson. Survivors include her daughter, Jeannine Sneed; granddaughter, Madysen Watts; sisters, Mary Shumake, Eunice Perry, Annie Smith, and Elnora Church; special brother and sister, Carl Macon and Theresa (Ricky) Billups; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. There will be no service. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
