Anita Orquia

CHICKAMAUGA — Anita Fernandez Orquia, 80, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was a retired CPA for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. Survivors include her loving husband, Bernardo Orquia; sons, A.J. Orquia, Smyrna and Michael Orquia, Ooltewah; daughter, May Lanham, Chickamauga; brothers, Ephraim Fernandez, Neph Fernandez and Benjamin Fernandez; sisters, Fely Marquez, Lucy Fernandez and Linda Quijano; grandchildren, Aaron Orquia, Nathaniel Orquia, Alexander Orquia, Dylan Lanham, Jessie Orquia, Matthew Orquia, Asia Lanham, Audrey Orquia, Stephen Orquia and Emmerson Kate Orquia. The family would like to thank Homestead Hospice for their love and care during this time. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday May 28, 2018, at Battlefield Community Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Justin Childers officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Battlefield Adventist Church or the Piano Fund at Infanta Adventist Church thru Bernardo Orquia.
