Sam Suddarth

Sam Suddarth Sr., 93 of Chattanooga passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at his home. He was veteran of the United States Navy and served during WWII. Sam retired from Dupont after 30 years. He was a member of the F & A Masons #673, Lookout Valley Lodge for 50 years. Sam was preceded in death by his Wife, Aza Sloan Suddarth, parents, William and Eulalia Suddarth, one brother and 4 sisters. Left behind to cherish Sam’s memory are his son, Sam Suddarth, Jr., step-daughters, Rachel Freeman and Ann Terry, one nephew, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Services for Sam will be private in accordance with his wishes and he will be laid to rest with the love of his life, Aza, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Hearth Hospice for the care they gave their dad. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions can be made in Sam’s memory to the East Ridge Church of Christ.
