Donald Stacey

Donald Arthur Stacey, 88, of East Ridge, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018. He was retired from Combustion Engineering. Mr. Stacey was owner and operator of Stacey Transportation. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Scenic City Sams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Stacey; daughter, Linda DeWitt; parents, Harold and Laura Stacey; two sisters, Jeannie Zumbrumn and Pat Chamberlin. Survivors include his children, Doug Stacey, of Palm Springs, Calif., Pam (Ken) Clouse, of East Ridge, Tenn., Dan (Sandra) Stacey, of Rossville, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Shanella) Stacey, Jason (Jennifer) Clouse, Stacy Elrod, John Phillip, David Stacey, Teresa DeWitt and Karen DeWitt; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road with the Rev. Dr. B. Eric Rieger officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
