Wanda Sparks
CHICKAMAUGA — Wanda Faye Boren Sparks, 71, went home to be
with her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.
She was born in
Chattanooga to the late Alton and Gladys Lane Boren, was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Church of God faith.
Wanda, with her husband was the owner of Standard Oil Chevron Station in Fort Oglethorpe during the late 60s. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Wanda was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Clifford Carroll;
and brother, Tillman Ray Boren.
She is survived by her loving children, Audera (Tommy) Madaris, DeWayne (Beverly) Carroll and Bryan (Lynn) Boren; grandchildren, Amber (Matthew) Whittington and Macie Boren; sister-in-law, Ann
Boren; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held in the parlor at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at the funeral home, with Rev. Carl Jackson and Rev. Bradley Wooten officiating. There will be a private family interment following the service.
