Elaine Ivey

IDER — Elaine Horton Ivey, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, at her residence. Funeral services are Friday at 1 p.m. ct at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Elder Tony Ivey and Elder Ricky Harcrow. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until service time on Friday. Survivors include husband, Jack Ivey; daughters, Carolyn Norman (Kenny), Brenda Autry (Jim); son, Charles Ivey (Delta); grandchildren, Stephanie Haynes (Byron), Kevin Norman (Carrie), Brian Autry, Brandon Autry (jo), Vanessa Sloan (Joel), Tiffany Bryant(Corey); great-grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Autry, Ashley and Taylor Haynes, Kayla and Matt Norman, Lucan and Jacob Bryant, Jack and Eli Sloan; sister, Virginia Greene. Mrs. Ivey was retired from Dade Health and Rehab where she had been the Dietitian Supervisor. She was preceded in death by her father, James Sylverter Horton; mother, Dessie Mae McGuire; stepmother, Ethel Smith Horton; granddaughter, Leann Ivey; sister, Evelyn Smith and brother, Jr. Horton.
