Mary Helen Reeves Price, 93, of Hixson, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018. Helen was a charter member of Red Bank Church of Christ for 93 years. Helen met and married Jim Price after WWII. Helen was active in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was active in her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Norman Price; parents, William Lee and Mary Haley Reeves; brother, Jack and William Reeves; sister, Dimple Whitehead. Survivors include her children, Mark (Sue) Price, of Carolina Beach, N.C., Richard (Debbie) Price, of Hixson and Joy (Robert) Bull, Athens, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Josh (Meg) Price of New York, Jillian (Bryan) Knam, of Chattanooga, Travis (Erika) Bull, of Hixson, Tyler (Amanda) Price, of Chocowitny, N.C., Wyatt Price, of Wilmington, N.C., Jacob (Whitney) Bull, of Knoxville, Cody (Alison) Bull, of Athens and Jeff and Nathan Roberts, of Knoxville; 13 great-grandchildren, Haleigh Shell, Hayden and Mason Knam, Javalynn, Colin, Caitlyn, Wil, Paisley and Sawyer Bull, Nathan Roberts Jr., Zoe, Freye and Levitt Price; sister, Barbara Northcut; several nieces and nephews; Parvin and Ida South, John Price; special life long friends: Elaine and Everett Higgins, Bob and Edna Matthews and Bill and Betsy Cronan. Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace with Minister Steve Lusk officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
