Ron Adair

ROCK SPRING — James “Ronnie” Adair, Sr., 80, of Rock Spring went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at his home. He lived throughout the U.S. while working for United Airlines during his 43 year career. Ron was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church and had served as Deacon for 40 years in various churches. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force receiving an honorable discharge. He was preceded in death by his son, James Ronald Adair Jr. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Adair; son, Michael (Cheri) Wayne Adair, Franklin, IN; daughter, Sharon (Glen) Leah Adair Blair; brother, Melvin Adair, Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, James Maurice Blair, Leah Blair Ogle, Kacie Danielle, Sydney Adair, Summer Adair and Mallory Adair; great-grandchildren, John Bodle VI and Cairo Bodle. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Brown officiating. A private interment will follow in Dietz Cemetery.
