Doris Thomason
ROSSVILLE — Doris Gene Thomason, 84, formerly of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct.
10, 2018 in Gadsden, Ala.
Mrs. Thomason was born on May 30, 1934, in LaFayette, Ga. to the late William & Eula Simmons Eaton. She was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, jewelry, gardening and coloring. She was a loving mother &
grandmother, and was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom Walker & John
Thomason, two sisters, three brothers, son-in-law, Frank Booker, son, Calvin Walker, and
grandson, Charles Hendershot.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Pete) Williams, and Linda Booker;
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, Thomas (Cassie) Booker, Cynthia (Steve) Gaston, Sheree (Lee) Riley, Ayley Bridges, Candice (Robert) Elliott,
Summer (Zach) Hiett, Loryn Hendershot, Kaitlyn Hedershot, Ashley Thomas, Caine
(Carrisa) Elliott, Madison (Wyatt) Morrison, Kayla Bridges, Chase Elliott, Maysie
Bridges, Reese Elliott, Blakely Fountain, Makiya Thomas, Neylyn Elliott, Charlsie
Morrison, Millie Hiett & Jensen Elliott; several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. at Lakewood Memory
Gardens South.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. at the South
Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary
Ridge, Rossville.
