Edward Gentle

FLAT ROCK — Edward Carl Gentle, 78, of Flat Rock died Thursday, Oct. 11, at his residence.  Funeral services are Sunday at 2 p.m. CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in Pleasant View cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Survivors include wife, Cindy Gentle, daughters, Lynn Ware(Chris), Reba Durham, sons, Darren Gentle, Billy Gentle(Kristi), Eddie Gentle(Lynn), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Louise Cooley, Mary Lee Millican, Jo Ann Wooten(Frankie), Jean Hyatt, Janet Griffin(David), brother, John Gentle(Diane), several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gentle was a Veteran serving in the US Army and was retired from Crowder Trucking.  He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Gentle, mother, Rosa Lee Wooden Gentle, brother, Billy Gentle and step-father, Hoyt Carr.
