Harry Robinson

Harry Lee Robinson Sr., beloved husband of Cathi Maria Robinson of Spartanburg, S.C., departed this life on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at age 68. For over a year and a half, Harry fought a courageous battle with cancer. Harry was born in Gastonia, N.C., and grew up in Chattanooga, Tenn. He was the son of Alvin Y. Bell and Alice Robinson Bell. Harry will be sadly missed by his wife, parents, and three sons, Lee, Corey and Kevin (Tiffany) Robinson, as well as several grandchildren, and cousins Barbara Broyles and Johnny Wallace. Harry was a graduate of Central High School, where he played football under the late coach Red Etter and Coach Stan Farmer. Harry was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps and had a long career in sales and management in the building supply industry. Harry was known as a trouble shooter and achieved many awards in stores and zones that he managed. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and The University of Tennessee football teams. A Private family service will be held at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hamilton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson (423)531-3975.
