Sue Haggard

BRYANT — Sue Hembree Haggard, 80, died Oct. 23, in Portland, Tenn. She was born Sept. 25, 1938, in Long Island, Ala., to John B. Gordon and Kathleen Lasater Hembree. She was a 1957 Bridgeport High School Graduate, member of Bridgeport Order of Eastern Star and Long Island Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Cope; brothers, John B. (Betty) Hembree, Sam (Dee) Hembree, Bill Hembree, Ike (Gayle) Hembree; grandchildren, Megan Cope, Zachary (Rachel) Donaldson, SSG Christopher Cope. Visitation will be Friday 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Ala. The Funeral Service is Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
