Forrest Moorer
Forrest Moorer, a witness of Jehovah, passed away on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at the age of 56.
He received his primary education in the Hamilton County School System. He was a 1980 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School.
Forrest was employed by Sea Board Farms and
The 1885 Restaurant. He was a member of the Avondale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James and Annie Lee Moorer; sister, Windy Jo Craig; uncles, Eugene Moorer, Harrison Moorer, Mathis Roberts, and J.W. Dixon; aunts,
Louise Benson, Smilie May Moorer, and Mary Alice Roberts.
Survivors include his sisters, Tonnette (Ronald) Auroa Saunders and Sonya (Edwin) Harrison; brothers, Vincent Moorer, of Chattanooga and Jonathan (Cynthia) Moorer, of Nashville, Tenn.; a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be today at 1 p.m. at Avondale Kingdom Hall with Brother Gene Hester giving the discourse. Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga Inc.
