Willadean Crisp

ATHENS — Willadean J. Vaughn Crisp, 84, Passed away Friday morning, Sept. 14, 2018, at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was the daughter of the late Garland and Alice McCracken Vaughn and was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth Crisp. She retired after 20 years from Cutter Laboratories in Chattanooga and was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Bonnie Swafford, of Athens Ruby Crittenden, of Athens; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Leuty and Pearline Vaughn, of Athens Lowell and Betty Vaughn, of Decatur Jimmy and Marilyn Vaughn, of Cleveland Curtis and Norma Vaughn, of Athens; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Short Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Vic King officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Vaughn, Todd Barham, Blake Barham, Dewayne Vaughn, Jeffrey Vaughn, Kevin Vaughn, and Camis Crisp. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Short Creek Baptist Church.
