Frances Payne

Frances Jeannette Payne, 91, was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Chattanooga, Tenn., and passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford P. Ledbetter; her two daughters, Phyllis Dodson and Marlene Strickland; and son, Jerry Mac Ledbetter. She is survived by her two sons, Clifford H. Ledbetter and wife, Louise of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., and Larry Allen Ledbetter Sr. of Alabama; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Ecclesiastes 1:27 Our bodies then shall the dust return to the Earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
