Jeanette McCall

Jeanette W. McCall finished her earthly race in her home surrounded by her loving family just weeks before her 76th birthday. She is survived by her two daughters, Martha (Victor Lopez) McCall and Betsy (David) Rice; her four grandchildren, Emily, William, Henry and Mary Rice; and her two sisters, Michelle (Terry) Goodwin and Margaret (Gene) Hargrove. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Alice Bolick; and her sister, Madeline Williamson. Jeanette was born in Birmingham, Ala. She lived and worked in London, England; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Ocala, Fla. She settled in Chattanooga, Tenn., to be near her grandchildren. Her friends and family knew her as independent, strong, and steadfast. She never met a stranger and delighted in making connections with people everywhere she went. A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday morning, Sept. 19, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
